Premier Inn Derby City Centre (Cathedral Quarter) hotel

This was my second year staying at this Premier Inn for the annual Tomb Raider fan event this weekend, and once again the experience was fantastic. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the team here are simply impeccable. They even extended the bar opening hours for the event, and despite how busy it was both years, the service never slipped. On our first night this year, my friend and I arrived a night earlier than most, we were chatting with the night team and discovered that one of the staff, Lauren, was getting some things together- she had created handmade tomb raider themed baubles, 3D-printed and hnad painted Lara Croft figures, and even knitted a couple of Lara rag dolls for guests to purchase — all in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital! Needless to say, they sold out quickly. Such an amazing and thoughtful gesture for a great cause. A huge thank you to the entire team — you really go above and beyond every time. Can’t wait to stay again next year!

Great location, lovely helpful staff. I've stayed here many times and never disappointed. Would be helpful to have a charging socket for shaver / toothbrush in the bathroom though. Buffet breakfast is excellent quality. Parking next door is very reasonably priced and literally minutes walk to the town centre. Highly recommended when in Derby.

Standard rooms, clean and comfortable. Great location and very close to the city centre. Restaurant food is good quality but a little pricey

With a P Inn you always know what you get. We were a little disappointed that they didn't have any P Plus rooms. But in the nes it was fine. Room smelt a bit damp when we arrived. But cleared after an hour. The breakfast team were one of the best I habe seen at a P Inn. Super friendly, helpful and efficient. We didn't have a car so cant comment on parking. Location was very central. Easy access to everything. Easy to get Uber taxis.

Myself and a huge gathering of my friends attend annually for the large Tomb Raider event at the Quad. The Premier inn is situated almost directly opposite making it an ideal location for our needs and plus the bar is where we hold our social gathering afterwards. Where there's a lot of us the staff work tirelessly to ensure we're served and our needs are met, they even stored my phone that I left unattended and member of staff kept it safe behind the bar for me. I always look forward to our time there and am incredibly grateful for the hard work the staff put in for us.

Great hotel as it is very central in Derby. I was also impressed with the room as it is very well maintained and very comfortable. The early check in was very nice and I appreciated it a lot. This is the best Premier inn hotel i’ve ever stayed in!

Stayed here NYE for two nights, was a great experience, the male and female staff members working in evenings were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Good location for shopping. Great value for money, will be booking again.

Arrived at hotel booked early check-in and was attended to straight away. Staying or 3 nights so told if we wanted room cleaning anything just ask .booked the meal deal which includes buffet breakfast and 2 coarse evening meal. We usually only have the breakfast but seeing it was new years eve we didn't want to wander around trying to find somewhere to eat .the evening meal was better than expected having.the mixed grill, gammon diner and the traditional fish and chips plus a sweet and a drink every night all cooked to perfection. The 2 staff that looked after us on an evening Lyle and Susanne were very polite and cheerful and couldn't do enough or you .this for me is one of the best premier inns that we visit .the staff food and location are great .definitely will return
